Wednesday Travel Day
we got up Wednesday morning and had bell services pick up our luggage and get everything checked so we were ready to go... After we got that all taken care of we rode the bus over to Epcot and took the monorail to the Polynesian resort to look around while we waited for our ride to the airport... finally it was time to head over to magic kingdom to catch the bus back to our resort so we could take the bus to the airport... we got to the airport about 3 hours early so we got lunch and then got in line to head through security.. It looked like we had a good hour or more wait to get through it when all of a sudden a tsa worker opened a line right next too us and we got through security in about 5 minutes... we got over to the gate and waited for our flight which is when I posted yesterday.... our flight was delayed over 40 minutes because of the weather in Chicago... We finally made it to Chicago and were able to get some dinner before our flight to Omaha... it was around 10:30 when we finally got home from the airport... What a vacation.. I can't wait for our next trip to Disney!!!! definitely going to have to do more days next time and try to take advantage of more of the night time extra magic hours... Its amazing how empty the magic kingdom was I can't imagine what the studios or Epcot would be like..
Tuesday... The open Day...
We started the day out at MGM to get the two mouse ears hats Emily had names embroidered on fixed they did the wrong color on both of them.. While we were waiting we went over and Ron, Terry and Emily rode the tower of terror two times in a row because the line was so short. we then went down to the behind the scenes tour and took that.. it was a nice tour with a really good tour guide who was really having fun. we had lunch after that and went off to pick up the hats and head back to the resort... When we got back we went up to the main building and rented a surrey bike to ride around the resort... what a dangerous group we are... we had a ball....
we went back to our rooms and got ready for our dinner at Fulton's crab house. What a great meal we had the crab and lobster combo. It had a nice lobster and then snow, dungeness and king crab legs... Yummers!!!!!
After dinner we made our way over to the Adventurers Club and spent a couple hours there before we decided to head back and start packing... sigh... the last night was over...

Monday.. Downtown Disney and Magic Kingdom
We started out the day later than normal...since magic kingdom had extra magic hours until 1:00am... after we slept in we went over to downtown Disney and did some shopping on our way to pleasure island to hit the harley shop... the harley shop was alot of fun..they had two really nice bike there you could get your picture taken on..not for sale unfortunately... after we got our tshirts we headed over to Disney quest... we spent a couple hours there eating lunch and playing video games.. after that we went back to the hotel to rest up before magic kingdom...
we headed over to magic kingdom around 3:30 for our day at the park.. we had dinner reservations at the liberty tree tavern where we had dinner and met Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Chip & Dale... after that we got lucky and found the line (actually started the line...) for the extra magic hours wrist bands.. we went up and walked right on haunted mansion, its a small world and Mickey's philharmagic..we then went around back to the front of the castle and found a great spot for wishes.. what a wonderful show.. the weather was perfect and tinker bell even flew down from the castle to start the show... after the fireworks we headed down fantasy land to ride the jungle cruise which was closed because of a tree that fell down across the river.. we went over and walked right on pirates of the Caribbean.. the updated version was really good. after that we headed up towards toon town.. and ran into Scrooge McDuck.. I waited in line for a picture with him while Ron, Terry and Emily went over to Minnie's house take a picture in the sewing room. They got back while I was still in line waiting for the picture... Terry waited with me... while Ron and Emily when over and got in line for the teacups... right after Terry got in line with me a big family of 8 or 9 people all went up as a group and took a picture with Scrooge so suddenly instead of waiting for all of them to take pictures it was my turn.. The photopass guy took 2 or 3 picks and Terry was able to take several as well with my camera.. We got done there and made it over to the teacups in time to see Emily and Ron getting into their teacup... Emily got the ride she wanted as both she and Ron took turns spinning the cup just as hard as they could... Terry and I were able to get a bunch of pictures.
After we did the teacups we went over towards tomorrow land and did some shopping and headed for the people mover... we rode that around tomorrow land and got a big surprise when we got into space mountain. all the lights were on so we could see the who roller coaster. It was stopped for some reason... after the ride on the people mover we went to the Monsters Inc Laugh floor.. It was a good show... when the show was done we went over and rode the Buzz Lightyear space ranger spin. We had a lot of fun Emily and Ron rode together so they could spin as much as they wanted and Terry and I rode in the second car taking it easy :-)
After we finished up with that ride we headed back towards the hub.. We were able to get some pictures taken of the castle and Christmas tree as its over towards tomorrow land instead of in the town square. We went back over to check on the jungle cruise and it was now closed for the night... we headed back to mainstreet usa and started shopping our way to the gate.... by the time we left the park it was just shy of 1am... What a great day!!! we didn't have to wait for any rides the whole night at Magic Kingdom! We couldn't believe how empty the park seemed. The next time we go we're definitely going to plan our Magic Kingdom day for a extra magic hours night and arrive later in the day...

Sunday putt putt golf and Epcot...
We started the day off slow since epcot is so huge.. we took it easy and I got a couple of posts done...had to walk up to the
lobby to post no wireless internet in our rooms.. I typed up the posts in our rooms and then just copied and pasted` them
in... we went over to blizzard beach and hit the putt putt golf course winter summer land we played summerlandfor a round of
golf that was a ton of fun..we then left from there to epcot...we got to epcot aroud 11 and headed for mission space so emily to ride... while she was riding that ron terry and I ran over
to the land and got fast passes for soarin..5:10pm before our fast passes... after emily got done with nission space we went
back to the land for lunch...after lunch we saw that the behind seeds tour was leaving in about 20 minutes.. so we signed up
for that and took the tour of the green houses and hydroponics gardens. It was amazing how`much food disney produces...we got
to sample tomatoes and they were the sweetest I had ever tasted. After that we went to ellens energy universe and relaxed
and napped. after that it was time for some shopping at mousegears... after spending plenty of money it was time for Soarin..
another great ride and with the fast pass we were able walk right on...after soarin it was time to head for England.. we went down right side of world show case lagoon and wondered through canada
and on to england. we shopped all the stores in england, china and japan while waiting for our reservation time, 8:20
finally arrived for diner at the rose and crown. we were seated on the patio right next to the lagoon. what a great
location!!! we were right on top of the fireworks it felt like. the christmas illuminations was beautiful!!!!!! after we
finished our desert we pin shopped our way to the bus stop Emily was able find all the pins a co-worker asked her to buy...

Saturday Disney-MGM studios
We arrived at the park around 8:30 and headed for the tower of terror What a great ride.,, after that it was off to the rock n roller coaster.. Ron Terry and Emily all really enjoyed it... after that it was back to the tower of terror for round 2 for Emily and ron... Terry and I waited for them. We then moseyed over to the great movie ride. Lunch was next on the list at the scifi drivein theater.. very good food and a great atmosphere we really had a lot of fun....
The 3d muppet movie was next... we were able to walk right in... we all had a lot of fun with the whole muppet crew... after that was a`little shopping and then off to lights action motorcars stunt show,,, that was really amazing the things the stunt drivers do with the cars and motor cycles was incredible... it was back up the to see the parade.. it was really alot of fun they already have the new princess in the parade from enchanted. after the parade was over and the crowd thinned a bit we headed back down to tower of terror for ron and emilys last ride of the day... then it was time to shop our way down the street back to the 50's prime time cafe for our dinner reservations... our server aunt mary ann was great she was completely into character and had a ball with us as we played right along with her.... after we got done with dinner we headed down to see the osborne family lights those are absolutely amazing!!!!! I can't imagine the hours it takes to put all that together... after walking up and down the streets of new york for a while we came back to the resort for a soak in `the hot tub before calling it a night.

friday animal kingdom
Got up bright and early and headed off to 1900 Parkfaire at the grand floridian for breakfast.. What good food and great
fun.. The christmas tree and gingerbread house were awesome.. On to breakfast... thank goodness for the disney dining plan..
sure is nice for going to these higheer priced resturants... This was a character breakfast.. We were visited by Pooh and
Tigger and then the Mad Hatter.. Finally Alice and the practically perfect in every way character!!! Mary Poppins!!!! Emily
and Terry were in heaven She is one of their favorite characters...
Time for Animal Kingdom.. We caught the animal kingdom bus from the grand floridian.. we got to animal kingdom around 10:30
or 11.... first stop was Expedition Everest!! what a cool ride... I gave it my typical try and survived the ride barely...
Emily, Terry, and Ron loved it.... Emily and Ron hopped right back on...and went again while terry and I waited for them.
After they were done with that we went over to Killamajaro safaris... while the day was gray and overcast the animals were
all out... and for the most part moving around... after the safari.. it was off to the its tough to be a bug show.. That was
lots of fun.. Disney's 3d shows are just amazing!!! after that was over we wondered off to dinosoar.. Emily Terry and Ron
road it while I was still recovering from Expedition Everest.... They had a ball I wandered around the gift shop while
waiting for them... then we headed back to where the parade starts at near the Safari entrance and found really good seats
right next to the rope along the parade route,, the animal kingdom parade was really neat all decorated for christmas!! after
the parade ended we shopped our way to the front of the park on our way to the Rainforest cafe for dinner... We had a great
server who did a wonderful job putting up with us...
We rode the bus back to our resort and dropped off some stuff and then headed for Down Town disney and shopped for 2 or 3
hours.... We spent alot of money and made the mouse smile ;-)

Thursday Travel Day
well over all the trip went well...got stuck in Chicago for an extra hour because the plane we were supposed to take to Orlando was broke and the spare plane in the service hanger wasn't ready... finally we ended up on the plane that was coming in from Orlando... we ended up getting to Orlando around 45 minutes later than our scheduled flight.. so over all not too bad. from there we were off to the magical express line and wait for the bus to Coronado springs... check in was nice and smooth... we walked back to our rooms at ranchos building 6a... after we dumped off our carry on bags we were off to Epcot for dinner at the Biergarten..
We got to Epcot early enough to do Soarin before dinner what an awesome ride!!!! can't wait to get back to Epcot on Sunday to ride it again.. The Biergarten was even better than I remember it...The food was wonderful several things I don't remember being there before.. Good beer good friends and good food.. what a way to wrap up the travel day!! we did get some shopping in at mouse gears before we headed back to our rooms to collapse...
